After months of circulating through the internet and college radio, Black Warrior Metal has released their single "Sustain the Violence (Remix)" June 25, 2010. In fall of 2009 the single made it through the top spots on Metal / Hard Rock SongVault Radio Top 10. The single is now available through iTunes. After two years in the making, Black Warrior Metal is releasing their first studio recording. The 2009-EP, which took only months to write and record, has waited more than two years to see the light of day. With songs like "Sustain the Violence" and "Shattering the Adversary," guitarist and vocalist Frank Davis describes this release as having "an old school, stripped down heavy metal sound." Black Warrior Metal's 2009-EP was written and recorded in late 2007 at Asylum Studios in Birmingham, Alabama.
